Incredible Hand Drawn Optical Illusions by Ramon Bruin

These drawings are designed to distort eyes and drop jaws. They are the creation of Dutch freelance artist Ramon Bruin, who crafts them hand. The optical illusion relies on careful positioning of lines that trick the eye in believing that 3D forms are portrayed.

The technique is known as anamorphic and only comes together when viewed from a certain angle.

The images are tribute to tremendous precision and a great grasp of perspective. They are highly original pieces from Bruin, who is largely self taught yet clearly has such a tremendous amount of natural talent that he is pioneering experiments with the technique.
